劇情簡介
講述的是以一句古老的中國箴言：福(happiness)、樂(pleasure)、憂(sorrow)、愛(love)，所映照出來的四段故事與四個人命運的奇妙故事，生意人福(佛瑞斯特惠塔克飾，《顫慄空間》)為了金錢挺而走險，將自己的生命押注在地下賭莊的賽馬賭注上；黑幫份子樂(布蘭登費雪飾)則是可以預見未來；憂(莎拉蜜雪兒吉蘭飾)是個流行歌手卻被黑幫老大手指Finger(安迪賈西亞飾)盯上，做為詐財的工具；而愛(凱文貝肯飾)則是個婚姻失敗的醫師，極欲挽回妻子的愛...
